Baku – The Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) CJSC announced a considerable net profit for the first half of the current year, totaling USD 726.6 million.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Economics, the company’s total income for January-June amounted to USD 1.39 billion. After accounting for sales expenses of USD 245.12 million, the net income stood at USD 1.15 billion. SGC’s operating profit was calculated at USD 940.83 million, with financial expenses amounting to USD 284.79 million and a pre-tax profit of USD 739.8 million. It is noted that a comparison with the same period last year is not possible, as the company did not disclose its profit and loss report for the first half of 2022.
