On July 31, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova signed an order to convene an extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis on August 3, 2021 at the request of 53 deputies of the Milli Majlis in accordance with Part II of Article 88 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA .

The issue of terminating the immunity of MP Eldaniz Adil oglu Salimov was included in the agenda of the extraordinary session.
