Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Parliament Engages in Strategic Talks with Palestinian Prime Minister

Baku: Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova engaged in a significant meeting with Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Mohammad Mustafa, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan, as reported by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis to APA. The discussions highlighted Azerbaijan's steadfast support and principled stance on the Palestinian issue, which is consistently reflected in its participation within international organizations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova underscored the importance of Azerbaijan's ongoing commitment to the Palestinian cause. The 2023 inauguration of Azerbaijan's Representative Office in Ramallah was noted as a pivotal move towards enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations. Azerbaijan remains committed to keeping the Palestinian matter at the forefront in various international forums, demonstrating a responsive and sensitive approach.

The dialogue also acknowledged the positive impact of Palestinian students pursuing education in Azerbaijan. The opportunities afforded to them under the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program were highly praised, reflecting Azerbaijan's dedication to fostering educational collaboration.
