Baku: During a joint briefing with Azerbaijani counterpart Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandrokovic emphasized Croatia’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan, particularly in the trade and energy sectors. The discussions also touched on the ongoing peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, with Croatia expressing strong support for the normalization of relations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Jandrokovic highlighted the significance of recent business and investment forums held in Baku and Zagreb, which signal growing collaboration between the two nations. He stressed the importance of further enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation, noting that today’s meeting reflects the Croatian Parliament’s readiness to advance these efforts.

Jandrokovic expressed optimism about future developments, stating that early next year, Croatia looks forward to engaging in discussions that will further solidify the strategic partnership between the countries. He conveyed confidence in undertaking necessary steps to continue building on the existing collaboration.
