Bukhara: Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis, who is attending the Second Asian Women's Forum in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, has met with Dunyagozel Gulmanova, Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. The meeting hailed the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan across all sectors. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the significance of the Second Asian Women's Forum was discussed during the conversation, emphasizing its vital role in increasing women's participation in socio-political life and expanding cooperation among female parliamentarians from various countries. Sahiba Gafarova underscored that the forum contributes to empowering women in decision-making processes, as well as fostering cooperation between the parliaments of participating countries and strengthening regional solidarity.
Speaking on inter-parliamentary relations, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis noted that cooperation in this field is developing successfully.
