A liquidation commission consisting of 3 people of the company “Gnay Sigorta” has been established, whose license is revoked by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on June 24. This was stated by the chairman of the commission, lawyer Akram Hasanov in an address to the company’s clients and creditors. According to him, the commission will manage the activities of “Gunay Sigorta” for a year and will complete the liquidation process: “Obligations to the company’s clients (insurers, etc.) and other creditors will be fulfilled in full and on time. There are enough funds for this. In other words, ‘Gnay Sigorta’ is not bankrupt (otherwise voluntary liquidation would be impossible). Thus, the company’s liquid assets amount to 9.31 million manats, and liabilities – 7.5 million manats. Thus, the total market value of assets exceeds its liabilities by 1.81 million manats. Therefore, there is no reason to worry from standpoint of interests of clients and creditors. The liquidation process will be conducted transparently and in accordance with the law, periodically informing the public.’ Meanwhile, the company ‘Gnay Sigorta” itself appealed to its creditors. The company posted its appeal in the newspaper “Taxes” of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy. The statement says that creditors can report their claims within 2 months to the address: Baku, Yasamal district, Inshaatchilar Avenue, 75C.
