Shusha: All projects in Shusha are implemented in accordance with national heritage, stated Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district. Karimov made these remarks during an event titled 'Building Back Better: How Urban Reconstruction Created an Innovation Lab for Urban Transformation in Azerbaijan,' which was part of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Karimov emphasized that the greatest challenge and unique characteristic regarding Shusha is ensuring that all projects comply with standards for preserving national heritage. He pointed out that this compliance also encompasses architectural style. He noted that visitors to the residential complex in Shusha can see the use of unique local natural stones on the facades of buildings, contributing to a distinctive appearance.
