Baku: President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, has conveyed congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day. The message underscored the cordial relations and cooperation between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Dissanayake's letter expressed his sincere good wishes to President Aliyev, the Azerbaijani government, and its citizens.
