Khartoum: Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman Al-Burhan, the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, has sent a congratulatory letter to Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter expressed warm congratulations and sincere wishes from President Al-Burhan on behalf of himself and the people of Sudan. He conveyed hopes for continued progress, prosperity, and well-being for the Azerbaijani nation, along with wishes for President Aliyev's health and happiness.

The communication underscored the opportunity presented by the Independence Day to reaffirm the strong ties between Sudan and Azerbaijan.
