Baku: The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) recorded revenues of 8.8 billion manats in the first half of the year, while expenditures amounted to 7.3 billion manats.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Fund’s gold purchases, combined with rising prices, have increased the share of gold in its portfolio to 28.8%, which is 3% higher than the previous quarter. In the second quarter alone, SOFAZ acquired 15.8 tons of gold.
