ISTANBUL: Strengthening collaboration among Turkic states is essential for their prosperity, economic growth, and sustainable development, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov stated. The comments were made in light of the inaugural meeting of Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation of the Organization of Turkic States held in Istanbul.

According to Trend News Agency, Minister Jabbarov emphasized the importance of enhancing the industrial ecosystem, promoting trade and investments, supporting small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), adopting modern technologies, and advancing initiatives in science, innovation, and digitalization. He expressed gratitude to the organizers for facilitating productive discussions and extended appreciation to Trkiye for its hospitality.

The meeting gathered officials from Trkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. During the discussions, delegates reviewed ongoing cooperation, delibe
rated on alignment with initiatives of related OTS Working Groups, and established Sub-Working Groups to foster further collaboration.
