Muscat: Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik Al Said has extended his congratulations to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in a letter marking Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Sultan expressed his pleasure in sending warm felicitations to President Aliyev on this significant occasion. In his letter, Sultan Haitham conveyed his best wishes for President Aliyev's health and happiness. He also expressed hopes for the ongoing progress, peace, and prosperity of the Azerbaijani people.
