Jeddah: The delegation led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, Vugar Gulmammadov, met with the delegation led by the President of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Hussam Alangari, during the 15th General Assembly of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting highlighted the significance of mutual visits to foster relations between the two institutions. The peer evaluation of the Chamber of Accounts’ activities by the Supreme Audit Court of Saudi Arabia was recognized as a crucial step in this cooperation. Chairman Gulmammadov expressed confidence that the evaluation results will aid in enhancing the Chamber of Accounts’ activities, and noted that they have been integrated into the new Strategic Plan for 2026-2030.

Dr. Hussam Alangari acknowledged the progress made by the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan and emphasized that the peer evaluation results reaffirm these achievements. At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Alangari presented the final peer review report to Chairman Gulmammadov.
