Survey: Garabagh Victory Influences Voter Decisions in Azerbaijan’s Parliamentary Elections


Baku — A significant majority of voters in Azerbaijan’s upcoming parliamentary elections indicate that the victory in Garabagh will be a decisive factor in their voting choices, according to a survey conducted by the US-based Oracle Advisory Group, APA reports.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, George Birnbaum, a representative of Oracle Advisory Group, revealed at a press briefing that 88% of respondents expressed support for the New Azerbaijan Party led by President Ilham Aliyev. Furthermore, 96% of participants noted that the outcome in Garabagh would heavily influence their vote. Detailed results show that 70% plan to vote for the YAP, while 6% and 4% would support the Musavat and Real parties, respectively, reflecting the significant impact of national issues on voter preferences.
