Baku: Issues related to expanding cooperation in the water sector, strengthening solidarity among operators, and advancing sustainable water management are being discussed within the framework of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) at the Assembly of the Global Water Operators' Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA). The event is co-organized by UN-Habitat/GWOPA and the State Water Resources Agency of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Assembly aims to assess 17 years of development in cooperation among water operators and to expand the exchange of experience with both existing and new partners. The discussions focus on enhancing collaborative efforts in managing water resources sustainably, recognizing the critical role of solidarity and shared expertise among global water operators.
