Gothenburg: A festive event for children dedicated to World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day and the New Year was held at the Azerbaijan House in Gothenburg, Sweden. Organized by the Azerbaijan House, the celebration brought together schoolchildren and representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event featured an address by Ulviyya Jabbarova, Chairperson of the ‘Azer-Turk’ Youth Organization and the Azerbaijan House. Jabbarova highlighted the significance of World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day, describing it as a critical occasion for uniting Azerbaijanis worldwide around common values and goals. She noted that such events play a role in shaping children’s national identity.
Jabbarova also spoke about the importance of promoting unity and solidarity among Azerbaijanis globally, as well as instilling national and spiritual values in children and the younger generation.
The event continued with a holiday program for children. With the participation of Santa Claus, children received gifts, creating a joyful New Year atmosphere.
