Baku: Sweden's newly appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Louise Morsing, will begin her duties in August, the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs said, APA reports. The diplomat currently serves as a counsellor at the Swedish Embassy in Ankara.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Louise Morsing has previously worked at the Swedish Embassy in Kyiv and the Consulate General in St. Petersburg. Her appointment follows the completion of Tobias Lorentzson's term as Sweden's Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
