Baku: President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter extends warm congratulations to President Aliyev and the citizens of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the country's Independence Day. President Parmelin also expressed his best wishes for Azerbaijan's future prosperity and success.

The Swiss leader highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Switzerland and Azerbaijan, expressing confidence that these ties will continue to grow constructively, especially in light of the positive developments in the South Caucasus region. President Parmelin concluded his letter by extending his highest regards to President Aliyev.
