Baku: The Global Baku Forum has become an important platform at a time when dialogue is needed, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva Tatiana Valovaya stated during the opening ceremony of the 13th Global Baku Forum, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Valovaya noted that the forum brings together different perspectives, creating opportunities for the exchange of ideas and cooperation. She emphasized that multilateral cooperation is particularly important at a time when geopolitical tensions are rising, trust is weakening, and global challenges are deepening.

Valovaya further highlighted that issues such as climate change, development disparities, and technological transformations cannot be resolved by any country alone, and therefore dialogue and international cooperation are essential.
