Baku: In January-May 2026, Azerbaijan: exported 349.03 tons of tea, up 21.1 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee reported that the value of tea exports increased by 16.8 percent to $3,014,600 during this period. This marks a significant rise in both the quantity and value of tea exports from the country.

In comparison, during January-May 2025, Azerbaijan exported 288.27 tons of tea worth $2.58 million. The data indicates a positive trend in Azerbaijan's tea export industry, reflecting growth in both market demand and export capabilities.
