Baku: In January-April 2026, Azerbaijan exported 259 tons of tea, marking an increase of 15.5 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the value of these tea exports rose by 12.1 percent, reaching $2,213,080. In comparison, during the same period in 2025, Azerbaijan's tea exports amounted to 224 tons, with a total value of $1,973,860.

The growth in tea exports reflects the country's efforts to boost its presence in international markets. The increase in both quantity and value indicates a rising demand for Azerbaijani tea abroad.
