Tehran-Baku Flights to Increase to Twice a Week from Next Week

Tehran: The number of Tehran-Baku flights will be increased to two flights per week starting from next week, said Mohammad Mir Rezaie, director of the 'Baku Star' company and official representative of Iran Air on the Baku route, in a statement to APA's Tehran bureau.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mir Rezaie stated that following the reopening of Imam Khomeini International Airport, a third flight on the Tehran-Baku route is planned to be operated on Thursday. Starting from next week, the number of Tehran-Baku flights will be increased to twice a week.

He mentioned that the flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays on the Tehran-Baku route.

The company director also highlighted the potential to increase the number of flights to up to six per week, noting that this issue will be evaluated in the future depending on conditions.

Mir Rezaie further announced plans for the launch of Baku-Mashhad flights, stating that this new route will operate from Baku to Mashhad.
