The First Forum of Young Entrepreneurs was organized as part of the 5th meeting of the Ministers of Youth and Sports of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Tashkent on 21 September.

AZERTAG news forum, the country’s Minister of Youth and Sports was represented by a delegation led by Farid Gayibov. The delegation includes 14 young entrepreneurs operating in the food industry, agriculture, light industry, architecture, tourism and other fields.

Speaking at the event, the Ministers of Youth and Sports of the Turkic Council member states stressed the importance of developing cooperation in this field, and expressed their views and suggestions.

Speaking at the forum, Farid Gayibov said that today we are launching a new project on young entrepreneurs within the Turkish Council. This project is also a bridge for cooperation between young entrepreneurs. I am sure that this forum will be a good opportunity for every young entrepreneur.

Expressing confidence that the discussions and meetings to be held within the forum will be useful, the Minister also stressed the importance of developing joint standards, creating a mutual investment environment and other issues for young entrepreneurs.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev attended the opening of the forum.

The forum continued with section meetings.
