On October 31, the head of the State Security Service (SSS), chairman of the State Commission for the Affairs of Captives, Hostages and Missing Persons, Ali Nagiyev, received the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) office in Azerbaijan, Dragan Kodzic.

According to the press service of the State Security Service, Ali Nagiyev touched upon the issues of clarifying the fate of Azerbaijani citizens who went missing during the First Karabakh War.

He expressed gratitude to the ICRC for its support in the exhumation and identification of the remains of Azerbaijani citizens found in the liberated territories.

Dragana Kodzic, in turn, noted that within the framework of joint efforts, important steps were taken to resolve a number of issues, she informed in detail about the measures taken by the ICRC recently
