The Energy Information Administration of the US Department of Energy (EIA) has maintained the forecast for the volume of production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan for 2023-2024, the monthly forecast of the department. According to EIA forecasts, the production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan in 2023 will amount to 0.64 million b/d. Actual production in the first quarter amounted to 650 thousand b/d, in the second quarter - 0.62 million b/d, the forecast for the third is 0.64 million b/d (July forecast - 0.64 million b/d), for the fourth - 0.65 million b/d (June forecast - 0.65 million used). According to EIA forecasts, the production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan in 2024 will amount to 0.65 million b/d. At the same time, oil production in the first quarter of next year will be 0.65 million b/d, in the second - 0.65 million b/d, in the third - 0.65 million b/d, and in the fourth - 0.66 million b/d. According to the updated Management data, in 2022, the production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan amounted to 0.67 million b/s.
