Kazakhstan: Kazakhstan is home to more than 35 Hungarian companies, which have invested around $400 million in the country’s economy, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said during an expanded meeting with Hungarian President Tam¡s Schuyok, Trend reports.

According to Trend News Agency, Tokayev recalled his state visit to Hungary last year, during which several key agreements were signed. These agreements have paved the way for long-term cooperation and strengthened the fraternal ties between the two nations.

The Kazakh president expressed his satisfaction with the progress in bilateral trade, noting that it reached nearly $200 million last year and has already grown by 22% in the first eight months of 2025. He highlighted the presence of more than 35 Hungarian companies operating in Kazakhstan, contributing approximately $400 million in investments to the country’s economy.

Tokayev also mentioned that Kazakhstan and Hungary have initiated 20 joint projects worth $607 million. These projects span various sectors, including agriculture, renewable energy, healthcare, logistics, and finance, reflecting the diverse collaboration between the two nations.
