TransLogistica Caspian Showcases Azerbaijan’s Role as a Key Transport and Logistics Hub

Baku: The 23rd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition, known as TransLogistica Caspian, has officially commenced at the Baku Expo Centre. This significant event, running from June 1 to June 3, underscores Azerbaijan's growing importance as a transport and logistics hub in Eurasia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exhibition highlights large-scale infrastructure projects and the development of international transport corridors that have positioned Azerbaijan as a central player in regional connectivity. President Ilham Aliyev, in his address to the 82nd session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), emphasized Azerbaijan's strategic role and the increasing significance of the Middle Corridor, which enhances connectivity between Asia and Europe.

The TransLogistica Caspian exhibition serves as a prestigious platform for showcasing modern transport solutions and fostering cooperation among industry professionals. It is supported by organizations including the Permanent Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Commission TRACECA, the Association of Azerbaijan Customs Representation and Logistics Companies (AGTL), and the Azerbaijan Exhibition Organisers Association (ASTA).

This year, companies from countries such as Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, and Turkey are participating, with notable entities like the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus involved. The exhibition facilitates the exchange of innovative approaches and the development of infrastructure, contributing to regional integration and economic growth.

On June 3, 2026, the 2nd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Forum will be held as part of the exhibition, featuring discussions on digitalization and the development of the Middle Corridor. Sponsored by 'Food City AgroComplex' and '166 Global', the Forum will include speakers from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Lithuania.
