Baku: U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a message to Baku Energy Week, APA reports. The message was delivered by Caleb Orr, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs, during the official opening ceremony of the 31st International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition 'Caspian Oil and Gas,' the 14th Caspian International Power and Green Energy Exhibition 'Caspian Power,' and the 31st Baku Energy Forum. These events are being held within the framework of Baku Energy Week at the Baku Expo Center.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev acknowledged the receipt of the message while hosting a U.S. delegation led by Caleb Orr on June 1. President Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the U.S. President's gesture, highlighting the strong partnership and cooperation between the two nations in the energy sector. He conveyed his gratitude to President Trump for the message and the continued support of Azerbaijan's oil and gas industry.

Assistant Secretary of State Caleb Orr reiterated the significance of the message, noting that President Trump's correspondence underscored the importance the United States places on Baku Energy Week.
