Baku: Trkiye's leading e-commerce platform, Trendyol, partnered with PASHA Holding to mark International Children's Day with a special event for schoolchildren from Shabran.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was organized with the support of the State Agency for Preschool and General Education under the Ministry of Science and Education. It brought children from the village of Gazbabali in the Shabran district, along with their parents, to Baku. The children participated in robotics master classes, enjoyed activities at a children's entertainment center, and explored Azerbaijan's cultural heritage with a tour of Icherisheher.
The core of the program was the robotics master class, where schoolchildren engaged in creating simple robots, learning about sensor technologies, and understanding the fundamentals of coding. Through these interactive sessions, they developed practical skills, gained exposure to technology, and built robots with the help of trainers.
The initiative aims to support children from remote areas by introducing them to technology and creativity, increasing their interest in future-oriented skills, and providing them with new developmental opportunities.
Trendyol and PASHA Holding have previously undertaken projects to enhance digital skills in regional areas. Notably, a four-day AI camp was organized in Ganja and Mingachevir, and the 12th Regional 'Girls in ICT' Conference was hosted in Khankendi.
These initiatives underscore Trendyol's commitment to fostering an inclusive digital environment in Azerbaijan. The company remains focused on implementing sustainable projects in collaboration with PASHA Holding.
