Baku: Trkiye's Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz has extended an invitation to the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to attend the upcoming COP31 scheduled to take place in Antalya from November 9 to 20. This announcement was made during a meeting of prime ministers and vice presidents of OTS member states in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Yilmaz emphasized Trkiye's commitment to taking a leading role in the global fight against climate change. He acknowledged the valuable experience gained from Azerbaijan's successful hosting of COP29 and expressed the importance of the active participation of OTS member states and their observers in the COP31 process. Yilmaz believes that such involvement will strengthen cooperation and lead to significant achievements in the climate change agenda set for COP31.
