Baku: A truck carrying 39 tons of fuel overturned on the Baku-Quba road, raising concerns of an explosion. The incident occurred in the Siyazan district, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) through their ‘112’ hotline.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly dispatched forces to the accident site. The crash involved a ‘DAF’ fuel truck that lost control, resulting in the vehicle overturning. This caused a significant fuel spill, which has heightened the risk of fire and explosion.
Efforts are currently underway by fire-fighting teams to mitigate the potential danger posed by the spilled fuel.
