Baku: The panel session titled "Dynamics of the Development of Turkic Languages: A Historical and Philological Perspective" was held as part of the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress. Speaking at the panel session, Director of the Atatrk Center in Azerbaijan, Academician Nizami Jafarov, highlighted that all Turkic peoples participating in the First Turkological Congress were represented by their own independent languages, which differed from one another in certain characteristics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President of the Turkish Language Association Osman Mert emphasized the necessity of establishing a common language institution for the Turkic states. He noted that modern technologies have advanced to a point where many issues envisioned during the First Turkological Congress a century ago can now be realized.

Director of the Eurasian Institute of Turkic Studies, Professor Inkyong Oh, remarked that the First Baku Turkological Congress was more than just a meeting on alphabet reform, but rather a historic initiative aimed at uniting Turkic peoples within a common intellectual space. He stressed that it is time to transition from classical Turkological studies to the modern "Turkic World Regional Studies" model.

Professor Hamidulla Boltabayev, Head of the Department of Uzbek Literary Studies at the National University of Uzbekistan, underscored the significance of the First Turkological Congress in his speech. He positively assessed the measures implemented by the Turkic states to foster cooperation and development.

Professor Gulgaysha Sagidolda of the Eurasian National University also reiterated the importance of expanding scientific and cultural cooperation across the Turkic world.
