Turkish and Georgian MPs Pay Tribute at Alley of Honors and Victory Park in Baku

Baku: Turkish and Georgian parliamentary delegations are in Azerbaijan for the 10th trilateral meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committees of Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Georgian Parliaments. During their visit, the delegations took time to honor significant Azerbaijani landmarks.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegations, led by Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, and Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye, visited the Alley of Honors in Baku. They paid their respects to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, considered the founder and architect of modern Azerbaijan, by laying flowers at his grave.

The visit continued at Victory Park in Baku, where the delegations placed flowers at the Victory Monument. The park serves as a memorial for the bravery exhibited by the Azerbaijani people during the Patriotic War and the significant victory that was achieved.

Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Affairs, along with other officials, accompanied the delegations during these visits.
