Nakhchivan: As part of the visit to Azerbaijan, a delegation led by Vice Rector of the National Defense University of the Republic of Trkiye, Professor Talat Canbolat, visited the Combined Arms Army, Ministry of Defense told APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the guests first visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the main square of Nakhchivan city and paid tribute to his memory. They then proceeded to the Heydar Aliyev Museum, where they received detailed information about the political activities of the National Leader, including the Nakhchivan period of his life.
The delegation also paid their respects at the monument of Mustafa Kemal Atatrk, the founder of the Republic of Trkiye, located in the city of Nakhchivan. As part of their visit, they explored the Headquarters of the Combined Arms Army and were briefed on its history, development path, current activities, ongoing reforms, and future objectives. Discussions also included the current state of cooperation in military education and prospects for future collaboration.
The visit extended to various classrooms, the simulation center, and the training hall at the Training and Education Center of the Combined Arms Army. During their tour of the Nakhchivan Military College and the Heydar Aliyev Military Lyceum, the delegation received detailed information on the reforms implemented in these institutions, the current military education system, and the primary directions of teaching and scientific activities. The tour also included the headquarters, academic buildings, dormitory, and other administrative facilities.
In addition, the delegation visited the Trkiye-Azerbaijan Friendship Park and several historical and cultural monuments as a part of their itinerary.
