Turkish President Attends Azerbaijani ‘Victory’ Performance at Ethnosport Festival

Istanbul: The 7th Ethnosport International Culture Festival, currently ongoing in Istanbul, Turkey, witnessed a noteworthy event as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and First Lady Emine Erdogan attended a performance by the Azerbaijani delegation. The festival, which commenced on May 22, aims to celebrate the unity and shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the highlight of the festival on May 24 was the "Victory" show composition presented by the Azerbaijani delegation. Organized by the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the performance featured a 130-member delegation and 20 Karabakh horses. The show brought to life ancient Turkic traditions, Azerbaijani national music and dance, alongside impressive displays of equestrian culture and cavalry art. The performance, embodying the national spirit and heritage of the Turkic world, captivated President Erdogan and the First Lady, earning a standing ovation.

The Azerbaijani delegation expressed their satisfaction and pride in the attention and interest shown by the Turkish leadership. The festival will conclude on May 25 with another performance by the Azerbaijani delegation, marking the end of this cultural celebration.
