Ankara: In recent days, in connection with the events taking place in our region, excessive criticism, disinformation, and provocative posts targeting Trkiye-Azerbaijan relations and Azerbaijan, particularly on social media and some other platforms, have been circulating, APA reports. This was stated in a statement by the Disinformation Combat Center of the Communications Directorate of the Presidency of Trkiye.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the statement emphasized the strong historical ties and shared values that bind Trkiye and Azerbaijan. The two nations have successfully navigated numerous challenges under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Their bilateral relations are conducted at all levels under the guiding principle of 'One Nation, Two States.'

The statement further urged the public to exercise caution towards excessive remarks, disinformation, and black propaganda activities that could harm the brotherhood between the two countries. It also recommended considering the statements of the official institutions of Trkiye and Azerbaijan on critical issues.
