Baku: "I consider the meetings held in Baku to be extremely productive," said Vice President of Turkey Cevdet Yilmaz in a statement to journalists, APA reports. The meetings were described as very productive by Yilmaz, who emphasized their significance by noting the organization of the second meeting at the level of Prime Ministers and Vice Presidents of the Organization of Turkic States. The first meeting took place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, and the second was held in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the meeting, the delegates were received in the morning by President Ilham Aliyev, where they extensively discussed the relations between their countries, as well as regional and global processes. The Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Unal Ustel, was also present. The meetings provided an opportunity to express gratitude to the President and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.

The main topics of the meeting revolved around economic issues. Yilmaz highlighted the importance of bilateral relations and regional integrations during a period marked by increasing global geopolitical tensions, risks, and uncertainties. He noted the weakening of international institutions and rules, which makes regional cooperation all the more crucial. The progress achieved by the Organization of Turkic States was deemed valuable in this context.
