Turkmen and German Ambassadors Explore Energy Cooperation Prospects in Islamabad

Baku: German Ambassador-designate to Pakistan Ina Lepel met with Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atamurat Movlamov at the Turkmen Embassy in Islamabad to discuss future prospects for energy cooperation. The meeting took place on August 18, as reported by Trend via the Embassy of Turkmenistan.

According to Trend News Agency, the diplomats exchanged views on regional developments and emphasized their commitment to enhancing stability, peace, and cooperation in the region. Ambassador Movlamov updated the German side on Turkmenistan's pivotal infrastructure and energy projects, which include collaborations with Pakistan and Afghanistan, highlighting their potential to boost economic growth and reinforce regional connections.

Lepel acknowledged the strategic significance of Turkmenistan's projects and mentioned that German companies are contemplating involvement in their execution. Concluding their discussions, both ambassadors expressed a shared interest in expanding bilateral, regional, and multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany.
