Bishkek: The TURKPA International Election Observation Mission, under the leadership of Abzal Kuspan, Vice-Chairman of the TURKPA Commission on Legal Affairs and International Relations and Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, convened with Meder Abakirov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, on 28 November 2025.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the mission comprised Serik Shaidarov, a Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Saky Sadykov, TURKPA Deputy Secretary General. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister highlighted the importance Kyrgyzstan places on TURKPA’s activities, particularly its role in enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation. He provided insights into the preparations for the upcoming early parliamentary elections and elaborated on the measures the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is implementing in this regard.
Meder Abakirov detailed the features of the electoral system and election management, highlighting the transparency and openness of the process. He also mentioned the use of advanced and digital technologies to ensure the elections are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
Abzal Kuspan, leading the TURKPA International Election Observation Mission, expressed gratitude for the cordial welcome and the favorable conditions arranged for election observation. He extended his best wishes for the successful execution of the elections.
