Two dead after two Colombian Air Force aircraft collide

Colombian authorities announced Saturday the death of two persons after the collision of two Colombian Air Force planes in mid-flight, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Minutes after the accident, the country’s Air Force reported on its Twitter account that the crash occurred at the Apiay Air Base, Meta, and involved two T-27 Tucano training planes at 5:30 pm local time.

“The investigation of the incident is currently ongoing,” the Air Force concluded.
