Moscow: Two individuals on the international wanted list - Shahruddin Goylarov and Elshad Alasgarov - have been extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Prosecutor General's Office stated that Goylarov was accused of causing a fatal traffic accident through negligence, while Alasgarov was suspected of committing fraud amounting to 15,000 manats. Both had gone into hiding to evade the investigation.

They were brought to the country under escort by a special convoy, and relevant procedural measures are currently ongoing.
