Baku: U.S. Charg© d'Affaires ad interim Amy Carlon welcomed representatives from 31 leading U.S. companies to Baku to discuss investment and economic cooperation opportunities, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan said in a statement, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this marks the first-ever U.S. Chamber-led business delegation to Azerbaijan. The initiative is part of U.S. efforts to expand economic cooperation as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by President Trump and President Aliyev in August 2025.
CDA Carlon emphasized that U.S. companies are considered among the most innovative globally and will play a key role in realizing the full potential of the August 8 agreements. The visit underscores a commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and fostering economic growth between the two nations.
