Baku: 'I convey the personal greetings of the President of the United States to you and to the people of Azerbaijan,' said U.S. Vice President James David Vance at a joint press conference held after the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Vance stated that the United States and Azerbaijan have long engaged in important strategic cooperation. He highlighted that Azerbaijan was among the last countries to leave Afghanistan, emphasizing the operations conducted under challenging conditions during that time. This cooperation has been pivotal in maintaining both countries' reputations on the international stage.
