Baku: U.S. Vice President James David Vance emphasized the importance of a sustainable peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan during a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Vice President Vance expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the efforts put into the peace agreement. He acknowledged the roles played by the President of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and former U.S. President Donald Trump in facilitating the agreement.
