Baku:The United Kingdom and Azerbaijan have agreed on the text of a new strategic partnership and have signed a roadmap focused on transport and digital infrastructure, as announced by UK Minister of State for Trade Anas Sarwar.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the partnership aims to enhance economic and security ties between the two nations. Minister Sarwar highlighted that during his meeting with President Aliyev, they agreed to collaborate on various sectors including education, science, digital transformation, energy, and infrastructure.
The newly formed partnership is based on the principles of open trade, investment, innovation, and significant people-to-people and business-to-business relationships. Minister Sarwar emphasized his commitment to securing deals that support British jobs and industry during his visit to Baku.
