Baku:A strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom has been established, focusing on energy, port infrastructure, investment, and education, as confirmed by UK Minister of State for Trade, Lord Anas Sarwar, during a press briefing in Baku.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Minister Sarwar detailed that the partnership agreement encompasses a broad spectrum of economic areas, with a particular emphasis on energy and port infrastructure. He highlighted that the opportunities for collaboration are extensive and not confined to these sectors alone.
The minister further stated that the text of the agreement has been finalized, and both nations will proceed with forming a working group to implement the partnership, even before the formal signing of the document. The collaboration aims to extend beyond conventional energy sectors, incorporating education, digital innovation, technologies, and infrastructure, as well as addressing the Middle Corridor and the defense industry.
