Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council Set to Launch in November

Baku:The founding meeting of the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council is scheduled for November, as announced by Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli during the 'German-Azerbaijani Strategic Partnership and Connectivity Conference 2026' held in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Bashirli highlighted the significance of President Ilham Aliyev's official visit to Berlin in July, which included high-level meetings and the signing of a Joint Declaration on the strategic agenda for bilateral partnership. This visit led to an agreement to establish the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council.

Bashirli emphasized that efforts are underway with German partners to turn this political progress into tangible projects and secure necessary financing. To further these initiatives and prepare for the business council's founding meeting, a visit to Germany is planned for early November.
