This marks the first time Ukraine is participating in the World Urban Forum, offering a platform to showcase the country's transformation efforts despite being in the midst of war. The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the support received from international partners, specifically highlighting Azerbaijan's role in aiding Ukraine's reconstruction efforts.
Kuleba expressed interest in leveraging Azerbaijan's reconstruction experience, notably in the Karabakh region, while recognizing the distinct challenges Ukraine faces due to the ongoing conflict. Investment in Ukraine's reconstruction is a priority for the government, Kuleba noted. While acknowledging the limitations of state funds and international financial support, he underscored the significance of public-private partnerships. He cited the concession of the Chornomorsk port as a successful example of attracting global investment, which demonstrates the interest of major international companies in Ukraine.
