Baku: Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Anacl¡udia Rossbach praised Azerbaijan's significant role in organizing the World Urban Forum (WUF13) during its closing ceremony in Baku. Rossbach highlighted Azerbaijan's resilience and commitment in successfully hosting the international event.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rossbach emphasized that Azerbaijan not only showcased its ability to build but also to rebuild and transform. Over the past two years, the country has worked diligently to ensure that the forum was both innovative and impactful, reflecting its high-level commitment.

Rossbach expressed her gratitude to the various contributors, including government institutions, UN staff, volunteers, service providers, partners, and media representatives who were instrumental in organizing the forum. She underscored the importance of the message from Baku reaching a global audience, allowing the international urban community to benefit from the shared knowledge, experience, and ideas.
