Baku: ‘Azerbaijan is preparing to host the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF-13) in the near future. This will place the country at the center of global urban development discussions,’ said Anna Soave, Head of Mission of the UN-Habitat Programme in Azerbaijan, at the ‘Baku Archifest 2025’ architecture and urban planning festival held at ADA University, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Soave emphasized the importance of urban planning, architecture, and infrastructure design, noting that these are not just technical processes. Instead, they are key factors that shape people’s lifestyles, mobility, and overall living environment. She highlighted the significance of Azerbaijan’s role in hosting such a pivotal global event, which is expected to influence discussions and decisions in urban development worldwide.
